The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the technical vision and articulating the engineering and AI roadmap, ensuring modern architecture, and driving strong execution for consistent delivery. This role requires a balance between long-term technology strategy and active leadership to achieve real business outcomes through data and innovation. Key responsibilities include enhancing data integrity, availability, and platform stability, as well as identifying and delivering technology initiatives with a significant business impact. The Head of Engineering and AI will also be tasked with embedding AI-powered solutions and automation into core operational processes, maintaining secure and scalable technology environments, and leading engineering budgets and resource allocation.Applicants for the Head of Engineering and AI position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, with a preference for those holding a Master's degree. A minimum of 10 years' experience across software, data, and cloud environments, with at least 8 years in engineering leadership roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, full-stack development, and experience with modern AI/LLM-powered solutions. Proven leadership skills, excellent communication, and experience in enterprise data strategy and platform development are essential. Exposure to scientific, biotech, or data-driven organizations is a plus.
