Technical Services ManagerWe are growing! We value your expertise to satisfy and support our industrial machinery clients of plastics packaging and bag making machinery. We offer the US and Canadian markets the largest and most diverse offering of bag and pouch-making industrial equipment.We are offering you this in-house (no travel) position in our Miami, FL office. As our technical services manager, we trust you are an experienced individual with extensive field service or project management experience, having worked on highly automated industrial packaging machinery. We anticipate you will have the project management & communications skills to keep our customers happy by closely supporting the install, service, and support of our machinery. This will require communications with many parties, including European engineering and management personnel.You must be experienced in handling high-pressure and machine-down situations with poise and positive action.ResponsibilitiesManage and lead the resolution of customers technical issuesManage field technicians on the teamSupport sales of service and partsSupport machine demonstrations in the technical centerSupport the introduction of new technology and machine development efforts.Project ManagementDevelop and maintain productive relationships with customers, branch personnel, and headquarters personnel.Position Requirements and SkillsMinimum 5 years as a field technician or inside technical role in the converting or packaging machinery market.Strong communication and technical skills verbal and written communication.Excellent organizational skills.
