Machine Learning Engineer

Machine Learning Engineer (AWS/MLOps) MOEV Inc. (https://www.moev.ai/) is a California-based AI/ML startup specializing in smart fleet, EV charging, and dispatch operations. We are seeking a full-time, in-office Machine Learning Engineer (AWS/MLOps) in Los Angeles office to design, deploy, and scale production-grade ML systems for our operational fleet infrastructure. Required Qualifications Education: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is highly preferred. A Bachelor's degree is required as a minimum. Technical Experience (3+ Years Required): Extensive AWS & MLOps Experience: Expert-level proficiency in deploying and scaling production ML systems using AWS SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, and CI/CD pipelines. Traditional Machine Learning Foundation: Strong background in statistical methods and tree-based models such as Random Forest, XGBoost, and ARIMA. Time-Series Deep Learning: Proven industry success implementing deep learning architectures (LSTM, TCN, TFT) for complex time-series data forecasting. Proficiency in Python-based ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and building end-to-end scalable data/inference pipelines. Expertise in software engineering best practices, including SQL, data structures, algorithms, and optimizing production analytics. Soft Skills and Team Collaboration: Thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional startup environment, collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and operations teams. Strong communicator capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ownership-driven mindset, managing projects from initial concept through production deployment and maintenance. Proactive team player with a willingness to mentor, share knowledge, and adapt to evolving needs.
