Software Engineering II
Overview
In this role you will develop and sustain software for mission-critical U.S. Navy tactical systems, operating fully on-site in Moorestown, NJ. You will join an Agile team focused on system integration, testing, and debugging to support advanced defense capabilities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineers to analyze requirements and implement robust software solutions. This is a hands-on position with impact on radar and defense domains, offering growth and exposure to mission-critical programs.

Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–4 years of software development experienceExpertise in C++ (or equivalent OO language/Matlab/scripting)High proficiency in at least two areas: systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, integration and testExperience in Agile developmentOO design and development experience (design patterns, modular architecture)Experience with Linux/UNIXFamiliarity with IDEs (e.g., Eclipse)Understanding of UML and software modelingExposure to automated or driver-based testing environmentsSolid State Radar Experience / Radar experienceStrong math background (linear algebra, statistics, signal processing)Knowledge of Radar systems and subsystemsExperience developing radar systems (algorithms, software, data analysis, modeling)Experience using Cameo (or similar) to create SysML MBSE artifactsCurrent, active government clearance at least secret level or higherExperience with: ClearCase, JIRA, xUnit/CppUnitLite, Assemblers, CMMI Level 5 processescross-functional collaborationproblem solvingeffective communicationC++Linux/UNIXEclipse
