Job Description:Below is the job description for your reference:Job Title: PhysicianLocation: London OH 43140Duration: 4 months to Long termShift: 08:00am-04:30pm (M-F)Hours/week: 16 -20 Hours/week Job description: Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide part-time on-site services to the male population at this facility. Schedule is 2 weekday shifts/week: no evenings, weekends, or holidays. There is some flexibility in start/end times based on needs of facility.Duties:1.Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system 2.Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports 3.Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing 4.Managing medication5.Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated6.Making referrals for specialized care or treatment7.Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards8.Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews9.Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed10.Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour
