The role will involve performing a variety of administrative tasks while experiencing the Club's approach to merchandise, golf operations, member events, and internal communications.Primary Responsibilities:Support the Outside Operation Manager three to five days each weekHelp the receiving department with the intake of new merchandiseAssist the Tournament Director in preparing for special eventsAid in the organization of the 9 & 18-hole WGA Play DaysAssist our Locker Room staff for two hours each weekComplete one modified shift per month with the Food & Beverage operationParticipate in one modified shift with the Golf Course Maintenance Department during your internshipKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with members, team members, and vendors.Education and/or Experience:Currently enrolled in college with a concentration in PGA Golf Management is preferredPrevious customer service or other professional work experience preferred.
