We're excited to announce the opening of our newest location in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco, and we're looking for passionate, people-first individuals to join our crew! If you love craft cocktails, great food, and creating memorable experiences for guests, we'd love to have you behind our bar. Overview of Role: The Bartender / Front of House Associate is the face of the Iggy's experience at the bar. You'll be responsible for crafting cocktails, beers, and specialty beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and keeping the bar area running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role requires a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Responsibilities: * Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest at the bar. * Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, milkshakes, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and quality standards. * Engage with guests, make recommendations, and create a welcoming bar atmosphere. * Monitor and manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management. * Follow all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service guidelines (RBS certified or willing to obtain). * Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar and front-of-house area. * Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure a seamless guest experience. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: * Prior bartending or front-of-house experience preferred. * Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer styles, and beverage service. * California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification required or ability to obtain before start date. * Positive attitude and strong customer service and communication skills. * Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. * Must be 21 years of age or older.
