This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day HR operations while partnering with plant leadership to support workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and compliance.This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring strong execution across core HR processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlant HR Leadership & OperationsServe as the on-site HR lead for the Hickory and Lenoir, NC facilitiesPartner with plant leadership on workforce needs and day-to-day HR supportEnsure consistent application of company policies and proceduresEmployee Relations & Workforce ManagementManage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolutionSupport performance management and coach front-line leaders on employee issuesFoster a positive and compliant work environmentHR Administration & ComplianceLead onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit proceduresMaintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsSupport HR reporting and audit readinessWorkers' compensation administrationPayroll & Benefits AdministrationSupport payroll processing, including timekeeping accuracy and coordination with corporate teamsAdminister employee benefits and serve as a point of contact for employee questionsTalent & Staffing SupportPartner with recruiting to support hourly hiring needsAssist with workforce planning to meet production demandsQualifications7+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentExperience supporting hourly workforce populations and front-line leadershipStrong employee relations experience and sound judgmentWorking knowledge of payroll and benefits administrationADP experience preferredHands-on, self-directed approach with the ability to operate independentlyStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsEducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
