TITLE: Chief Marketing OfficerTYPE: Direct HireLOCATION: Fully Remote (US-Based)ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Remote – EST Business HoursSTART DATE: April/May 2026We are seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to lead and drive execution across an established, distributed marketing organization. This role is not a rebuild; the marketing playbook, systems, and team are already in place. The primary need is a decisive, accountable leader who can act as the captain of the function, make C-suite-level decisions, and ensure consistent execution and follow-through. This position partners closely with executive leadership and plays a critical role in supporting continued growth within a professional services environment. The role is fully remote, requires consistent availability during Eastern Time business hours, and candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer without requiring sponsorship.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESOwn the marketing function end-to-end, including strategy, execution, prioritization, and performance management.Lead and manage a small, distributed marketing team (approximately 5–6 team members) across multiple time zones, including demand generation, social media/brand, project coordination, and marketing leadership.Drive execution of an established marketing playbook, ensuring initiatives are completed on time and to standard.Make clear, confident decisions and remove bottlenecks that slow progress or execution.Partner closely with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with business growth objectives.Provide leadership across demand generation, brand, social media, and project coordination functions.Oversee and optimize account-based marketing initiatives, particularly within professional services environments.Delegate effectively while maintaining ownership and accountability for outcomes.Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution and operational follow-through.Establish performance expectations, track results, and hold the team accountable for delivery.Foster a results-oriented culture focused on execution, clarity, and continuous improvement.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 15 years of progressive marketing experience.Prior experience as a Head of Marketing or Chief Marketing Officer is required.Demonstrated success with account-based marketing strategies and execution.Experience in professional services environments such as law firms, accounting firms, or similar is strongly preferred.Proven ability to lead tenured teams and establish credibility quickly.Decisive, confident leadership style with the ability to balance authority and collaboration.Strong follow-through and execution capability in complex, fast-moving environments.Stable employment history demonstrating long-term tenure and commitment.Must be US-based, eligible to work in the United States for any employer without requiring sponsorship, and able to work Eastern Time business hours.EOE STATEMENTWe are an equal opportunity employer.
