CA RTC Licensed Therapist- HYBRID

🍋 The Mindful Lemon is seeking a passionate, experienced Licensed Therapist for a hybrid role supporting our 6-bed Residential Treatment Center in Castaic, CA and providing virtual clinical services for our programs.This role is primarily focused on residential care (3 days/week onsite), with 2 remote days dedicated to virtual intakes, assessments, and clinical support.We are seeking someone who thrives in high-acuity environments, is confident in crisis management and risk assessment, and is excited to help build and grow our residential program.Join our team and help us on our mission to create a more mindful world.JOB SUMMARY:The Hybrid Therapist reports to the Clinical Director and coordinates closely with the onsite Program Director to provide direct clinical services within the residential program in Castaic, Ca while also supporting the organization through virtual intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and clinical treatment. This role requires strong experience in crisis intervention, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning and utilization review.SCHEDULE:3 days onsite at RTC to include one weekend day in Castaic, CA2 days remote (virtual intakes, assessments, and clinical support)Productivity requirement varies based on RTC census – minimum of 10 virtual hours per week in addition to RTC tasksFull-time, 40 hours/weekEvening availability preferred, one weekend day requiredDUTIES:Provide individual, family group therapy and crisis management for up to 6 residential clientsConduct assessments, intake evaluations, and treatment and discharge planning for residential clients.Coordinate with prescribing provider to ensure residential clients medication needs are metComplete virtual intakes, clinical assessments and ongoing treatment for new and prospective clientsManage crisis situations, including risk assessments and safety planningCollaborate with Program Director and Behavioral Health Technicians to ensure appropriate engagement in the therapeutic milieuSupport admissions, discharges, and level-of-care determinations, facilitating Utilization Review with insurance companies and payors as needed.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EHRFacilitate groups and psychoeducation within the residential programEnsure compliance with ethical standards, boundaries, and confidentialityParticipate in team meetings, case consultations, and trainingsREQUIREMENTS: Active California license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist)Minimum 1–2 years experience in residential or high-acuity settingsStrong experience with crisis intervention and risk assessmentExperience conducting intakes and diagnostic assessmentsComfortable providing virtual clinical services (intakes/assessments)Strong documentation and communication skillsAvailable at least one weekend day per week in personPREFERRED:Experience in dual diagnosis settingsFamiliarity with CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed careExperience with Smart Recovery and/or 12-step modelsCOMPENSATION:- $90,000- Performance-based salary increasesBENEFITS:- 401(k) with match- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance- Paid Holidays & PTO- Mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Employee Assistance Program- Flexible scheduling support- Professional development opportunities🍋CONNECT WITH US:www.themindfullemon.comIG @themindful_lemonLinkedIn: The Mindful Lemon IncJob Type: Full-timeAbility to Commute:Castaic, CA 91384 (Required for onsite days)
