Physical Therapist AssistantSelect Physical Therapy is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient center in Winter Park. The clinic is staffed with two full time Physical Therapists and one part time Occupational Therapist. This location offers strong mentorship opportunities, including collaboration with an experienced clinician who is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist and serves as the center's Student Coordinator. This role is well suited for newer therapists seeking guidance and professional development and experienced therapists.Additional hours may be available. Candidates who are open to covering multiple centers in the area may have the opportunity to transition to full time.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.QualificationsCollege graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant programPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)CPR certificationAdditional DataGenerous PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balanceComprehensive medical/Rx, vision and dental planCompany-matching 401(k) retirement plans, as well as Life and Disability protectionRelocation assistance available!
