Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or SOAP APIs for internal and external integrations.• Lead end-to-end API integration projects with third-party vendors, partners, and internal platforms.• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.• Develop and manage API contracts, specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger), and documentation.• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys).• Handle data transformations, mappings, and orchestration across systems.• Monitor API performance, reliability, and scalability; troubleshoot integration issues.• Enforce API best practices including versioning, error handling, throttling, and logging.• Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps, and QA teams.• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards.
