We are a team of engineers, scientists and professionals serving the packaging industry as a leading equipment manufacturer of package inspection equipment for the pharmaceutical, medical devices, food, and container industries.PTI’s management and R & D team focus has been on developing inspection technologies for the packaging industry that perform with a high degree of precision and reliability, and simplify testing and validation processes in the pharmaceutical, medical device, food and container industries. PTI’s inspection technologies are non-destructive, non-subjective and provide companies with solutions to improve their quality and process control, while reducing product waste and cost. As we continue on our successful journey, we are looking to add more talented, innovative and dedicated employees to our team. So, if you are someone who enjoys work because of the sense of accomplishment that it gives you, and if you want to be part of a high impact team working for a financially strong, global company that is the leader in the Container Closure Integrity testing industry, then contact us, because working at PTI is not just a job….it’s a passion!The Team: PTI Inspection DivisionThis position is as a team member of PTI’s Inspection Division, which is responsible for designing and developing the most sophisticated non-destructive container closure system inspection technologies in the world. The position offers Salary, Bonuses, and an uncapped commission pool.The Role: Regional Sales ManagerPTI is looking for a high performing, dynamic technical Regional Sales Manager to achieve ambitious organic revenue growth for PTI’s Inspection products & brands focused on our Medical Device markets. The position will be responsible for managing direct sales as well as growing fleet of domestic & global Sales Channel Partners, transforming both local level and Corporate level Accounts, customer-facing processes, consultative selling processes & applications engineering management strategies to enable product solutions growth leveraging unique technologies. The individual must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively multi-tasking as a Regional Sales Manager, as well as supporting and participating as a member of the Sales Leadership team responsible for developing and deploying a business growth strategy. Essential Functions:1.     Develop and implement a revenue-generating customer satisfaction sales program to reinforce PTI’s “Customer First” value and commitment to all customers2.     Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy 3.     Manage Sales Channel Partners’ needs and sales growth4.     Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations5.     Drive solution sales and aftermarket sales growth within existing customer base and marketplace6.     Develop and drive new sales within existing and new customers7.     Establishing and maintaining both new and existing client relationships8.     Develop and organize a results-selling program in support of strategic accounts and sales campaigns9.     Provide input to product management that helps define and quantify new markets, applications, product features, and competitive intel 10. Coordinate efforts with sales, presales and marketing teams to drive business opportunities 11. Identify unmet customer needs for all PTI’s inspection solutions12. Positive and passionate about sales and customer relationship building13. Perform other Sales and Marketing tasks as required to meet company objectives14. Excellent written and oral communication along with listening skills15. Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly bookings and sales forecasts as required.16. Strong working knowledge of CRM solutions17. Domestic and International Travel: Annual average 35%18. Salary Exempt position – Hours over 40 per week can be expected.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1.     >5 years’ experience within the Medical Device industry2.     >5 years’ experience within any of the following markets is preferred: Pharmaceutical, Packaging, and Bio-Tech3.     >5 years’ experience with Capital Equipment Sales4.     Introductory knowledge of scientific and technical subject matter5.     Must have demonstrated performance in customer satisfaction, process optimization and results target selling6.     Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level7.     Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close8.     Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills9.     Good computer application skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.10. Strong customer focus, attention to detail, fast acting, excellent communicatorMinimum education required: BS from a program focused on engineering or sciences.
