Desktop Support Technician

Position: Desktop Support Location: Woodhull, IL Contract and onsite · Need at least 3 years of Desktop Support Experience · Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking · Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals · Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems · Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions · Conduct remote troubleshooting · Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue · Customize desktop applications to meet user needs · Record technical issues and solutions in logs · Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel · Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional · Report customer feedback and potential product requests Job Type: Contract Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Woodhull, NY 14898: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Desktop support: 3 years (Required) iOS: 1 year (Preferred) Windows: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
