Senior Rigging / Lift Engineer & Project Manager

We deliver everything from operated crane rentals and aerial lifts to complex heavy haul transport, machinery moving, and turnkey rigging solutions. Our in-house engineering group is growing fast because our customers rely on us for the toughest lifts and moves — and we’re looking for a seasoned pro who can help design safe, smart, cost-effective solutions from concept to field execution. What You’ll Do· Analyze drawings, site data, equipment specs, and field conditions to develop lift plans, rigging studies, heavy haul routes, gantry setups, jack-and-slide operations, and other complex rigging projects.· Lead job walks, site visits, and pre-bid assessments to gather real-world data and confirm project feasibility.· Prepare detailed calculations, reports, specifications, and AutoCAD drawings that meet the highest safety and quality standards.· Use FEA software and other engineering tools to model and validate designs.· Coordinate closely with our operations, crane crews, project managers, and clients to keep projects on track from planning through execution.· Attend critical lifts and field operations as needed to support the crew and troubleshoot on the spot.· Mentor and develop junior engineers while helping drive a strong culture of collaboration, safety, and practical problem-solving.What You Bring· Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or related Engineering field.· 5+ years of relevant experience in structural analysis, rigging engineering, heavy lift planning, or heavy construction.· Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.· Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals — statics, dynamics, trigonometry, and practical field application.· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documents; comfortable presenting to crews, clients, and leadership.· Self-starter who can work independently and adapt communication style for the field or the boardroom.· PE license (or on track to obtain one) is a big plus.
