This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable systems, and collaborating with a high-performing remote engineering team.You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing backend services that power customer-facing applications and internal platforms. This is an opportunity to work on modern cloud-based architecture while contributing to products that serve a growing user base.What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and DjangoBuild and enhance RESTful APIs and backend servicesDevelop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practicesOptimize application performance, scalability, and reliabilityCollaborate closely with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver new featuresParticipate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisionsTroubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutionsPerform code reviews and mentor junior engineers as neededContinuously improve development processes and engineering standardsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of professional backend software development experienceStrong proficiency with Python and the Django frameworkExperience designing and consuming REST APIsSolid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)Experience building scalable, high-performance backend systemsStrong knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patternsExperience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testingExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsOur specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.
