Robot Programmer & Setup Technician Responsibilities: Program FANUC robots, Rockwell PLC and HMI, or Omron PLC and HMI systems Provide technical guidance and expertise for custom automated system design Complete reach studies and motion path simulations with FANUC ROBOGUIDE software Install robot software and create software backups Setup FANUC DCS, Collision Guard, and configure settings such as payload Establish Ethernet/IP communication with PLC/HMI and external devices Assist with automated equipment assembly and robot integration Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure automation system assembly is completed in a timely manner Discuss, diagnose, & repair robot operational and process problems Assist with factory and site acceptance testing Assist with system installations at customers facility Communicate frequently with involved employees to ensure expectations are met Maintain a clean and tidy work environment Other duties as assigned Requirements: An AS in Electrical Mechanical/Industrial Automation discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation 2 or more years experience programming PLC and or FANUC robots Preference given to candidate with: Experience programming FANUC robots Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLC Experience with Yushin robots and programming Experience with machine vision systems Experience with SolidWorks Experience with plastic injection molding equipment and processes Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Engineering: 2 years (Preferred) Programming: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Menomonie, WI: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
