Agribusiness Credit Officer

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The Agribusiness Credit Officer analyzes and provides written recommendations for credit decisions based on financial information and projections.Responsibilities include:Analyzing financial statements and projectionsReviewing loan requests for eligibility and complianceRecommending loan terms and covenantsDrafting credit narratives to assess financial strengthParticipating in Loan Committee discussions and votesSupporting special projects in Agribusiness, Capital Markets, and CreditREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:Require a Bachelor's degree in agriculture, finance, or agribusiness. 1 year credit analysis and decision-making experience, or completion of Credit Training Program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the jobThe ideal candidate must possess a general knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, credit analysis, ag economics, and farming practices. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
