These roles are critical backfills due to recent team departures, with urgency driven by ongoing grant activity and upcoming funding cycles.This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals who thrive in collaborative, high-impact environments and want immediate visibility with leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesManage accounts receivable (AR) activities, including payment posting, reconciliations, and aging analysisPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned grant portfoliosMonitor grant revenue, drawdowns, and reimbursements, ensuring timely and accurate cash flowConduct budget vs. actual analysis and investigate variancesSupport grant compliance and reporting, including documentation and audit readinessCollaborate cross-functionally with accounting teams, program managers, and leadershipIdentify and resolve discrepancies in financial data, processes, and reportingQualificationsRequired Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent accounting coursework/experience)Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, including:Accounts ReceivableFinancial statement preparationGeneral accounting processesIntermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/HLOOKUPs)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work fully on-site in San Antonio, TXProven ability to collaborate across teams (non-siloed work style)PreferredGrant accounting experience (federal, state, or local funding)Experience with Acumatica ERP or similar accounting systemsBackground in nonprofit or multi-funding environmentsClick here to apply online
