Join Our Brooklyn Salon as a Weekend Salon Assistant! We’re a busy Brooklyn salon looking for a dedicated Salon Assistant to help out on weekends. This role is perfect for someone energetic and hardworking who is ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment. Position Details: Days: Saturday & Sunday Only! Hours: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Pay: $20/hour Key Responsibilities: Client Support: Greet clients, offer refreshments, and assist with check-ins and check-outs. Stylist Assistance: Help with shampooing and occasional blowouts (experience helpful, but can train), manage stylist schedules, and run errands as needed. Salon Maintenance: Handle cleaning tasks including sweeping, washing color bowls, folding towels, and ensuring the salon is tidy and organized. Administrative Tasks: Answer phone calls, book appointments, and assist with general salon administration. Qualifications: Experience with salon shampooing, blow-dries, and styling a major plus! Physical Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet and move quickly throughout your shift. Interest in Beauty: A genuine interest in the beauty industry or small business. Tech Skills: Basic knowledge of Gmail and texting, and willingness to learn our booking software. People Skills: Good with clients and a positive attitude towards learning. Why Join Us?
