Data ScientistThe main function of the Data Scientist is to produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets.Job ResponsibilitiesApply knowledge of statistics, metaheuristic optimization, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to product development and improvement.This role is to work with an existing Distribution Optimizer code base written in Python using OOP to make improvements and adjust to business requirements.Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments.Work on Distribution Optimizer product for Commodity and Supply Chain Management digital platformRequired Experience5+ years of relevant experience required.Experience with metaheuristic optimization algorithm in previous projectsExperienced in object oriented programming in PythonExperience in developing and deploying solutions in AzureFamiliarity in data modeling in order to collaborate with data engineers in resolving data issuesThe ability to communicate effectively in writing, including conveying complex information and promoting in-depth engagement on course topics.Experience working with large datasets.EducationMaster of Science degree in computer science or in a relevant field.
