Job Title: Merchandise Planner 2Location: Beaverton, ORSalary Range: $30-38IntroductionJoin our team as a Merchandise Planner 2, where you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations. This is an on-site role at our WHQ, with typical work hours and the benefit of working from home on Fridays. The contract duration is approximately one year.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree strongly preferred2-4 years' experience minimum required in a merchandise planning roleExcel expertiseKnowledge of retail math and open-to-buy (OTB) managementExperience working in a cross-functional matrix environmentGeneral understanding of retail operationsPrior work experience at client or in client's industryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Experience in merchandise assortment planning, inventory management, and financial forecastingAble to have meaningful cross-functional conversationsAbility to work in ambiguityPrevious experience presenting in front of senior leadership (good communication skills)Prior financial management experienceProven ability to communicate with higher-ups (stakeholder management)Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a direct team of 6-7 members and work hand-in-hand with other teams, including sport planning and in-line planning.Develop detailed seasonal buy plans and monthly forecasts inclusive of sales, margin and inventory at the style color level.Develop strategies to meet sport financial goals and own open-to-buy bottoms-up forecasts to inform business decisions and in-season optimization actions.Articulate financial plans in seasonal presentations and monthly open-to-buy meetings to gain alignment and accelerate the vision of the sport business goals.Facilitate monthly and seasonal inventory planning and management activities utilizing advanced data systems and analytics to solve problems and drive results.Company Benefits & CultureEngage in a dynamic and supportive work environment.Enjoy a flexible work schedule with WFH Fridays.Be part of a company that values innovation and teamwork.For immediate consideration, please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
