About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Surg Tech in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Tuscaloosa, AL at a hospital. You will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing direct support to the surgical team.
Minimum Requirements:
Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or hospital-approved Surgical Tech certificate course required.High school diploma or equivalent required.Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.Completion of College Anatomy and Physiology I course required.Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician or completion of Central Sterile Processing certification is acceptable alternative.2 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist; will consider 18 months with 1 year of recent experience in the specialty. Recent CVOR or cardiac OR experience required.Operating Room or equivalent experience required.Ability to participate in emergency on-call rotation as required by the client (every third week rotation noted by client).
