Position Overview:Profession:Physician Specialty:Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Default Rate Type:Daily Emergency/Temp Privileges:No Shift Type:Days Shift Description:PRN Basis:As needed basis Shifts:TBD Half Day:4 hours or less Full Day:4-8 hours Job Details:Start Date:ASAP - Ongoing Board Certification:Required Certification Eligibility:Board Eligible State License:South Dakota Duties and Responsibilities:Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. Conduct interview-based assessments with physical evaluations including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Evaluate traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions. No prescribing or treatment required. Utilize a Goniometer for assessments. Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions required. Proficiency in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs). Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Submit Reporting/DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, adhering to standardized form requirements. Evaluations to be completed in provider portal and records are reviewed. Provider needed: more than 5 Additional Requirements:Board Certification or eligibility in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R.
