*Responsibilities*
Assist senior carpenters with various construction tasks on residential and commercial jobsites, including various site framing, cabinet fabrication/installation, and finish woodwork.
Learn to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute project plans.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking.
Support the installation of doors, cabinets and various other custom made wood pieces as directed.
Participate in heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on-site.
Contribute to the efficient process of fabricating and installing custom wood cabinetry/high-end wood furniture to the required standards.
Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, general jobsite safety and other construction activities.
*Experience*
No prior professional experience is required; however, familiarity with construction sites or handyman work is advantageous.
A strong interest in carpentry or woodworking is required.
Basic knowledge of finish carpentry with the ability to adapt to company protocols and operating practices.
Candidates should demonstrate physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding.
Experience with construction materials/tools such as wood, table saws, plainers, miter saws, drum sanders, router tables and other wood working hand tools is essential.
A commitment to safety standards including power tool safety and proper handling of woodworking machines is essential for success in this role.
