Award-winning brands include Belgard® hardscape, Echelon® Masonry, MoistureShield® composite decking, RDI® railing, Catalyst™ Fence Solutions, Sakrete® packaged concrete, Amerimix® mortar, Pebble Technology International® pool finishes, Lawn & Garden mulches and landscape features, and Techniseal® sands and sealant technologies.Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Associate is responsible for assisting designated machine operator or production team in a variety of functions including, but not limited to maintenance, clean up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, material handling, etc.Job ResponsibilitiesHandles assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assignedKeeps work area cleanUses safety gear at all times and follows all safety regulationsReport any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediatelyClean up of machinery and maintain the surrounding area keeping them free of debris buildup during downtimeCleans machines and conveyorsCleans floors and picks up reusable scrap for salvageTransport trash and debris away from production areasResponsible for keeping pallets neat and orderlyOperates machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all timesAssists lead operator or supervisor in preparing for shift productionWork closely with the lead operator or supervisor and become knowledgeable of the mechanics and operation of the machine in which you assistMay be required to work with conveyors, ramps, elevators, etc. as assignedMay be required to operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, among others. Internal certification/training is required for these tasksOperate a variety of hand toolsAssists in the loading/unloading of trucksAssists in completing shipping/receiving documentsPackages and labels products properlyHandle stockpilesVerify loads leaving the premisesMaintain, verify and count product inventoryOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededJob RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
