POSITION SUMMARY Calvary Day School seeks relational, Christ-centered educators to serve students in Pre-K through 12th grade classrooms for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Faculty members play a vital role in guiding students toward academic excellence while nurturing spiritual growth through strong relationships, intentional mentorship, and consistent care. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Faculty members are expected to: Plan and deliver instruction aligned with course standards and school expectations Establish a classroom culture rooted in respect, consistency and grace Assess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback Communicate proactively and partner effectively with families and colleagues Support students’ spiritual, academic, social, and physical development Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning, chapel, and school-wide events CHRIST-CENTERED CULTURE & RELATIONSHIPS Faculty members are expected to: Integrate Biblical truth naturally and age-appropriately into instruction Model Christlike character, servant leadership, and professionalism Build meaningful relationships with student, families and colleagues Contribute to the life of the school beyond the classroom as needed Foster joy, encouragement and gratitude within the learning environment QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or higher (required) Two or more years of teaching experience (preferred) Georgia teaching certification in the assigned content area (preferred) Strong communication skills with a relationship-first mindset Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and faith integration Experience in mentorship, advisement or counseling (preferred) Comfort with educational technology and openness to using tools that enhance learning, including appropriate use of AI EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS Medical, dental and vision insurance 403(b) retirement program with employer match Paid time off Tuition discounts for enrolled dependents Lunch provided on regular workdays PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS In compliance with ADA requirements, reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified applicants with known disabilities.
