As part of Brooksource's Elevate Program, you will work on-site with a leading client, operating high-powered rewind presses to finish and prepare labels for packaging and shipping. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values quality, and is committed to maintaining efficient production processes. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, performing equipment maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, all while collaborating closely with your team to deliver outstanding results.What You'll DoSet up and operate rewind presses according to work order specificationsLoad and unload materials safely and efficientlyInspect finished rolls to ensure labels meet quality standards and are properly securedMake necessary press adjustments to correct quality or production issuesMonitor unwind and rewind tensions throughout each job to maintain consistencyLocate and verify job jackets using job numbers to ensure production accuracyPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment in optimal conditionMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workstationCollaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operationsParticipate in training and seek ways to improve processesFollow company policies, safety procedures, and core operational processesEmbrace LEAN Principles to drive efficiency and customer satisfactionWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyAbility to read, write, and communicate effectivelyBasic math skills and familiarity with rulers or measuring tapesIntermediate computer skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a drive for success and continuous improvementWillingness to participate in ongoing training and embrace new processesCommitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting
