Food Runner

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for customer service. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards before serving. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times. Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Skills Experience in food service and handling is essential; previous restaurant experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in banquet services or hotel settings can be beneficial but is not required. Understanding of food safety regulations to ensure compliance in daily operations.
