Senior Sales Engineer

The roleKaleido is growing rapidly and seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to partner closely with enterprise customers, financial institutions, and internal go-to-market teams to drive technical discovery, solution design, and customer engagement across our blockchain and digital asset platform. This role sits at the intersection of product, architecture, and go-to-market, working closely with existing customers, new prospects, internal engineering, product, and business leadership to design scalable blockchain and digital asset solutions that accelerate enterprise adoption and expand Kaleido’s global footprint.Key responsibilitiesPartner closely with Sales and Business Development teams throughout the enterprise sales cycle, guiding customers from early technical discovery through solution design, implementation, and production deploymentLead customer discovery sessions and solutioning workshops with financial enterprises, driving alignment across technical, business, security, and compliance stakeholdersDeliver technical deep dives, demos, whiteboard sessions, and architecture discussions for engineering, product, security, compliance, and executive audiencesDesign secure, scalable blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset architectures leveraging Kaleido’s Chain Infrastructure, Web3 Middleware, Digital Assets & Tokenization, and Custody offerings.Support pre-sales engagements, including technical validation, RFPs, security reviews, technical due diligence, and customer architecture discussions across multiple concurrent opportunitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to drive successful customer outcomesBuild reusable demos, reference architectures, and technical enablement materials while acting as the internal voice of the customerYour experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant, working with enterprise customersExperience supporting enterprise software, infrastructure, fintech, or platform sales cycles in consultative customer environmentsDemonstrated ability to lead customer-facing discovery sessions and architecture workshops, distilling complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong understanding of APIs, microservices, security, identity, and enterprise integration patterns in real-world, production environmentsBonus: specialization in areas such as payments, cloud infrastructure, financial services, security, or the ability to create clear, polished technical presentationsWhat we valueA customer-focused approach: able to lead a room, build trust, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholdersCuriosity and adaptability in a fast-evolving technical landscapeCollaborative approach with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teamsDiversity and InclusionKaleido is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity in all its forms.
