Senior Embedded Software Engineer | Embedded Linux | C++ Duration:12+ monthsWe are seeking aSenior Embedded Software Engineerwith strongEmbedded Linux, C++ and hardware bring‑up experienceto join a small, high‑impact engineering team. This role focuses onembedded software development, board bring‑up, driver development and platform modernizationfor both a production device and a next‑generation embedded system.This is ahands‑on embedded engineering rolerequiring close collaboration with hardware, manufacturing, testing and external vendor teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead embedded software development on Linux‑based systems.Perform board bring‑up, hardware integration and low‑level debugging.Develop and maintain C/C++ embedded applications and drivers.Work on hardware abstraction layers (HAL), device drivers and firmware‑adjacent code.Support camera, sensor and peripheral integration.Modernize legacy embedded platforms and Linux dependencies.Partner with hardware, manufacturing, test and vendor engineering teams.Required Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in Embedded Software Engineering.Strong expertise in Embedded Linux development.Advanced C++ and C programming in embedded environments.Proven experience with board bring‑up, BSPs and low‑level hardware debugging.Experience developing device drivers and hardware communication layers.Familiarity with ARM‑based systems, peripherals and interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.).Strong debugging skills using GDB, JTAG, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.Additional Information Employment type: Contract.
