Job Description Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. You'll play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential in both classroom and individualized settings.Qualifications:Associate's degree or successful completion of the paraprofessional exam is requiredRecent positive references from previous roles in educational or similar support settingsPrevious experience working with children or young people in schools, camps, or related environmentsAbility to effectively support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and medical needsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsReliable, compassionate, and adaptable to changing classroom environmentsKey Responsibilities:Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and managing daily classroom activitiesProvide one-on-one or small group academic support to assigned studentsSupport students with behavioral challenges using positive reinforcement and effective strategiesAssist students with medical disabilities, following appropriate protocols and guidelinesFoster a supportive and respectful learning atmosphereTrack student progress and communicate observations to educational staffMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesParticipate in ongoing training and staff meetings as requiredThis K-12 contract role is an excellent fit for individuals passionate about inclusivity and student growth.
