Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Key Responsibilities:Manufacture, assemble, and test custom machine hardware according to written procedures, engineering models, work orders, drawings, and specificationsSetup new production work areas, including tooling and equipmentPerform second-party verifications and hardware inspections of engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written proceduresTroubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenancePerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence controlOperate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipmentSetup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, height gauges, and optical measuring instrumentsIdentify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiencyPerform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESDEducation Requirements:High School diploma, GED or equivalent experienceRequired Skills & Qualifications:Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, test procedures and P&IDsExperience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around critical hardwareExperience using common assembly and integration toolsClimb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areasWork at heights on work stands and in liftsPerform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 40lbsExperience with verbal and written communication of technical data, results, and associated tools (Confluence, MS-Office suite)Preferred Qualifications:Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related fieldWork effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilitiesExperience in handling large/expensive componentsExperience in assembling large tight-tolerance structuresExperience in new product introductionExperience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environmentBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundWork Environment / Physical Requirements:Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areasWork at heights on work stands and in liftsPerform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 40lbsOperate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, and flight vehicle/subassembly transportation equipmentAbout GTT: GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
