Title: Security AnalystLocation: Renton, WADuration: 10-to-12-month contractCompensation: $60-80/hourRequisition SummaryThe Perimeter Security Operations Analyst may work in several areas including: managing firewall rules and policies as well as assisting in the administration of web and email gateways. The candidate will also assist in event and incident management processes including malware response and investigation. The analyst will also take part in security training and assist in the development of enterprise security standards and best practices. Other duties will include providing security guidance to business and IT stakeholders throughout the enterprise.Work is done both in team and individual contributor roles. The pace of work is fast and can change quickly based on current security risks. Thus, the qualified individual must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks. They must also be willing and eager to learn new and emerging technologies and skills, both while at work and on their own time.Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesThe Perimeter Security Operations Analyst will provide identity and access management and perimeter security support that follows the companies' best practices and standards. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with firewalls or, web gateways, and enterprise network equipment. The ideal candidate is familiar with industry standard security practices and is eager to learn and implement new and exciting solutions.The candidate will assist Global Information Security in the continued improvement of incident response and will assist in the assessment of new technology.
