Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program

This is an onsite position based at our Allen Plant location in Gastonia, NC. This position is open only to currently enrolled Gaston College Students. The Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with Gaston College provides alternative to traditional higher education for those who enjoy working with their hands, are interested in careers in a STEM-related field, or want to continue working full-time while learning. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Practical Part | MANN+HUMMEL Allen Plant | ~80% Directly affect quality of product thru die repairs/management Partner with maintenance for producing innovative solutions/parts Evaluating new machining concepts for production support Developing new tactics to manage/produce/support tool and die production at facility Theoretical Part | Gaston College |~20% Blueprint Reading Production Tooling / Die Making CNC Turning / Milling CAD …and many more!
