In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision while also collaborating with team members. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and experience in Agile development methodologies. The individual and team goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business objectives in a mainframe computing environment.ResponsibilitiesPerforming validation and verification testing of both new features and product fixesDeveloping and executing high-quality software tests in a continuous integration environmentDeveloping, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation pipelinesAssessing code coverage and identifying/resolving testing gapsAutomating tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingEnsuring test pipelines are up to date with latest technologiesCollaborating and providing Quality Assurance subject matter expertise in an Agile team environmentCoordination with management and internal teamsRequirementsPractical experience in mainframe development and testing environmentAnalytical mind with problem-solving aptitudeProficiency with Job Control Language (JCL) for batch workloadProficiency in Scripting languages (Python, JSON, REXX)Proficiency in CI/CD test automation frameworks (Jenkins)Strong understanding of Security protocols and ESMs Experience with REST API Automation (RestAssured) is a plusExperience with Java and Javascript/Typescript is a plusExperience with Junit/TestNG framework is a plusExperience with JMeter for Stress and Load testing is a plus Compensation And BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is USD 109,700.00 To USD 175,500.00As a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
