Billing Clerk

Position Overview: Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our Albuquerque team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while supporting overall administrative operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organize invoice batches for daily data entryReview, verify, and process invoices, ensuring proper coding of payment documentsGenerate and manage billing and credit transactions within the accounts payable/receivable systemCommunicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies, questions, or requestsPerform invoice entry and other data entry tasks as neededIdentify and communicate issues or discrepancies in a timely mannerProvide administrative support to management as neededPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping (preferred but not required)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AdobePURPOSE – Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
