SummaryPerforms the full range of professional duties required to plan, develop, and implement administrative staffing practices; supports human resources administration, including the performance of complex and/or sensitive activities; manages human resources large-scale, long-term projects; and serves as a resource of region, school, and departmental staff.QualificationsRequiredAny combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.Four (4) years of experience in human resources, education, or related field, some of which may have been in a supervisory or administrative role. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.May be required to work evening and weekend events. Knowledge of the theory, procedures, and practices of one or more of the fields of human resources.Familiarity with the principles and methods of public human resources administration and educational institution organization, including a deep understanding of the multi-faceted complexities of leading a school.Knowledge of the Division's organization, mission, rules, and regulations, and local and state laws related to employmentFamiliarity with project management practices.Proficiency in the use of technology.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.PreferredMaster's degree.School-based administrative experience.Professional educational license.Major Duties/Essential FunctionsPerforms or administers activities involved in the recruitment, placement, promotion, transfer, and/or separation of school-based and non-school-based administrators.Plans, implements, monitors, evaluates, and modifies, as needed, the principal and assistant principal selection, hiring, and pool process.Communicates with and collaborates with various stakeholders, including the Leadership Team, Division staff, and community members.Facilitates meetings with community and staff and school-based administrator interview panels and delivers presentations.Performs employment and related resource management activities, including maintaining accurate records and using the applicant tracking system and the employee information system.Monitors the processing of personnel authorization documents.Meets with candidates to provide feedback on interviewing and provides career counseling to include resume development and interviewing advice.Attends weekly and/or evening job fairs.Performs related duties as required or assigned.Work Environment/Physical RequirementsThis job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
