We invest in the right people to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.Veteran-Friendly: We have a longstanding commitment to hiring veterans, both in the field and in the office.What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?Being self-motivated and self-reliant.Technical savviness and a strong appetite for continuous learning.Enjoying hands-on work and critical problem-solving.What You Can Expect to Accomplish in Your First Year:Completion of Apprenticeship Levels 1 and 2.Completion of OSHA 10-Hour training.Mastering the basics of pipefitting and learning to read/comprehend installation drawings.Developing a strong working understanding of NFPA 13 and code compliance.Requirements:License: Must possess a valid RME-I (Responsible Managing Employee - Inspector) license.Experience: 2 years minimum of fire sprinkler fitting, inspection and or service.Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required).Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.Core Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; well-developed active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills.Traits: Dependability, strong personal values, and a dedication to working with honesty and integrity at all times.Key Responsibilities:System Installation: Install overhead steel piping (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pump, standpipe, and hose systems) as well as residential systems (CPVC and copper).Underground & Valves: Install and service underground pipes (private fire mains, hydrants, pits, control valves) and system riser components (alarm valves, dry pipe valves, backflow preventers).Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, thread, groove, and bend pipe to exact specifications. Assemble and secure pipes and fixtures using brackets, clamps, welding, brazing, or cementing.Testing & Inspection: Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, and visual observations to ensure full code compliance.
