SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provide supervision and direction to employees to ensure successful completion of assigned duties and tasks while adhering to department safety protocol. Responsible for implementing a driven, team-oriented culture, which embraces continuous improvements and ensures operational and process excellence across the board in all areas.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily machine build operations, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide hands-on guidance to build teams.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
Oversee assembly, installation, and alignment of complex machinery and tooling.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the build process.
Use of hand tools, power tools, and various shop equipment
Deburring and grinding tools
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in machine building, assembly, or mechanical systems (with leadership experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, precision alignment, and industrial equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to effectively handle tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work varied shifts, overtime and weekends when necessary.
Has confidence in leading processes, projects and looks for opportunities.
Ability to work with management team to help drive performance.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, or equivalent certification
Relocated vocational education preferred
10+ years’ experience leading and coordinating the assembly, de-bug, and installation of automated equipment
