We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a role that requires a positive, team-first attitude, strong ownership, and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities Accounts PayableReview, enter, and process vendor invoices and expenses Verify invoice details and support timely vendor payments Maintain organized vendor records and documentation ReconciliationsAssist with monthly bank account reconciliations Support credit card reconciliations and expense coding Support other balance sheet & income statement account reconciliations General Accounting & Month-End SupportAssist with recurring monthly journal entries and accruals Support accounts payable reporting and other financial statements Investigate discrepancies and escalate as needed Compliance & Tax1099 preparation and basic reporting Support Washington State Excise Tax Returns Support multi-state tax returns and sales tax processes Team SupportRespond to vendor and internal data requests Maintain documentation and participate in process improvement Support ad hoc finance reporting and projects Qualifications RequiredBachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and/or 0-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships welcome) Basic understanding of accounting principles Technically proficient (Google Workspace or Microsoft equivalents, etc.) PreferredExperience in ecommerce, retail, or inventory-based businesses Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, BILL, or similar tools Exposure to sales tax or compliance SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Willingness to learn and ask questions Reliable with strong follow-through Clear communicator and team player Curious about AI and improving workflows Keeps up with new technologies What You'll Gain Hands-on accounting experience in a growing ecommerce company Exposure to modern financial tools and systems Mentorship and opportunities for growth Diversity, Equity, Inclusion At GLDN, we take a lot of things personally.. and we like it that way!
