Maintenance Technician
Facilities maintenance technician to provide support for a 528,000 sf building, with office, electronic lab, and clean room functions. Should be familiar with central building infrastructure systems such as chiller plants, electrical distribution systems, air compressors, vacuum pumps, RO/DI water, fire alarm, controls and building management systems. Should also be familiar with general maintenance associated with architectural, construction, and interior design elements. Having experience in a large commercial setting with large and diverse employee base is a plus.The successful candidate should have strong customer service skills, be able to work independently as well as within a team environment, exhibit good time management, communication, problem solving , and basic computer skills. Will be expected to work in a professional manner, have pride in quality of work, and have great respect for safety procedures and precautions. At times, work will be physically demanding, with the need to lift 50 pounds.The successful candidate should have the ability to learn new skills quickly, and be willing to perform any tasks necessary to maintain the building and provide support to all customers.6 AM to 3PM or if that doesn’t work 7 to 4 with an hour for lunchHigh school educationMinimum 5 years experience in facilities maintenance roleGood verbal and written English communication skills.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals and specifications.
