Learn more at www.FloridaCrystalsCorp.com.OVERIVEWThe Procurement Manager, Transportation & Logistics has responsibility for the long-term success of supply and sourcing initiatives across Transportation, Logistics and Fleet categories. The primary objective is to support effective and efficient supply chains while leveraging Transportation and Logistics spend globally through strategic sourcing, category management and supplier performance management.This role includes responsibility for fleet-related sourcing, including medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (Class 8) across diesel, CNG/RNG, and battery-electric technologies. The position integrates traditional logistics procurement with evolving fleet and electrification strategies, ensuring alignment with operational requirements, total cost of ownership and sustainability objectives.The Procurement Manager will collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Fleet, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier selection, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management initiatives.REQUIRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or logisticsExperience developing and executing sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, negotiations, and performance managementExperience managing projects and working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong knowledge of transportation and logistics services, with exposure to fleet/vehicle sourcing (Class 8 preferred)Experience using data-driven analysis and process improvement to support sourcing decisions; familiarity with alternative fuel or EV technologies is a plusPREFERRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCEAdvanced Degree (MBA or similar) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related fieldProfessional certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, or LogisticsExperience driving end-to-end project delivery, process improvements, and communicating results to senior leadershipStrong stakeholder management experience across multiple levels of the organizationExperience with fleet procurement (Class 8 or vocational) and exposure to alternative fuel or electrification technologiesExperience with TMS platforms or logistics analytics tools;Spanish language skills are a plusESSENTIAL DUTIESLogistics Sourcing & Category ManagementDevelop and execute strategic sourcing plans across transportation and logistics categoriesLead RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiationsManage supplier performance through SLAs, scorecards, and business reviewsBuild strategic supplier relationships and incorporate market insights into sourcing decisionsEnsure standardization of procurement processes, policies, and best practicesFleet & Vehicle SourcingLead sourcing and procurement of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (diesel, CNG/RNG, battery-electric)Manage end-to-end purchasing lifecycle including specifications, pricing, order placement, delivery, and upfit coordinationPartner with Fleet to standardize specifications and optimize cost, safety, and performanceOversee supplier performance across quality, delivery, uptime, and warrantyElectrification & Emerging Technology IntegrationSupport fleet electrification and alternative fuel sourcing strategiesEvaluate emerging vehicle and charging technologies and integrate into sourcing decisionsDevelop total cost of ownership models (capex, fuel/energy, maintenance, lifecycle)Align vehicle sourcing with infrastructure readiness, incentives, and sustainability goalsGeneralNegotiate and manage contracts to mitigate risk and deliver valueIdentify supplier risks and implement mitigation plansLead multiple sourcing projects and cross-functional initiativesUtilize data and ERP/TMS tools to drive decision-making and performance improvementTRAVEL* Up to 25% travel (primarily domestic, some international may be required)LOCATION OF ROLE* West Palm Beach, FLREWARD PACKAGE* Competitive salary* Full Benefits Package including medical, dental, life insurance and other benefitsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
