GeoSnake is designed for the shift from traditional SEO to GEO, helping businesses prepare for a future where customers rely on AI assistants for direct answers.Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining backend services that power GeoSnake’s AI visibility and analytics platform. This part-time, remote role involves architecting scalable systems, implementing APIs, integrating with third-party AI and data providers, and optimizing performance for data-intensive workloads. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, collaborating with product and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring reliability and security of core services. The Senior Software Engineer will also contribute to technical decisions, improve development workflows, and help shape the long-term platform architecture.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern software engineering best practices.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.Familiarity with data processing, integrations with AI/LLM APIs, or analytics platforms is a plus.Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
