Working onsite with our dynamic teams in Chantilly, Denver or Gaithersburg, you will experience a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where your technical leadership and problem-solving skills will directly support the customer’s mission. *What You Will Do* In this hybrid technical and leadership role, you will drive the complete software development lifecycle while championing Agile best practices: * *Build & Architect:* Design, develop, and deliver complex, customer-focused software enhancements from end to end. * *Lead the Agile Process:* Act as a technical leader and Scrum Master, ensuring agile ceremonies are productive and obstacles are rapidly cleared for your team. * *Solve Complex Problems:* Break down large system architectures into manageable tasks, providing accurate effort estimates and innovative technical designs. * *Collaborate:* Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Product Owners, technical leads, and fellow engineers to optimize system behavior and data outputs. *What You Bring (Basic Qualifications)* * *Clearance & Citizenship:* U.S. Citizenship required. Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a Polygraph. * *Education & Experience:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering (or related) with 8–12 years of experience; OR a Master’s degree with 6–10 years of experience. * *Agile Leadership:* Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master for a technical team. * *Core Tech Stack:* * *Backend & Systems:* Python, Java, SQL/PostgreSQL, Linux, Windows * *Frontend & Web:* JavaScript, Django, REST APIs, JQuery, Ajax * *DevOps & Tools:* Git/GitLab, CI/CD methodologies * *Engineering Excellence:* Deep understanding of modern design patterns, coding standards, and scalable architecture. *Stand Out With (Preferred Qualifications)* * *Cloud Expertise:* Hands-on experience with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle) and specific AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation, RDS). Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer) are a huge plus. * *Modern Frontend:* Experience scripting with React. * *Domain Knowledge:* A background in GEOINT systems and architecture (Client-Server, MVC).
