CNC Lathe Machinist I - III - 2nd Shift

Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionJob Summary:Set up, program, and operate machine and produce production parts to required specifications.Essential Job Functions:Set up, program, and run various machinesProgram trouble shootingUnderstand and select toolingProduce parts within required tolerances and specificationsStrong understanding of cutter compensatingResponsible for keeping work area clean and neatFollow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guardingMaintain simple reports such as time sheets and work ordersMust be able to read and interpret blueprintsStrong Communication SkillsMust be able to maintain concentrationMust be able to work while standingAbility to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.Requirements Qualifications:Minimum one to two (1-2) years' experience of machining requiredKnowledge of Lathes, Grinding, Turning and Multi Axis machines as well as their functions requiredMust be familiar with types and names of controls such as Fanuc, Milltronics and Prototrak preferredKnowledge of Programming and use of G & M codes requiredManagement reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
