Machine Operator

Employment Type: Full-Time, First Shift, Mon–Thurs: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PMFriday Overtime as Needed, No Saturday/Sunday workPay: Competitive hourly rate: $23.00/hr. We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Machine Operator.Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable mechanically inclined person to operate related equipment for boring, turning, balancing and coating our products to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have reliable attendance, desire for continuous development, and driven to produce quality parts with safety in mind.Key Areas of Production:Operate equipment and assemble per manufacturing job work orders.Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specificationsVerify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.)Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentWork collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goalsAbility to operate a hoist to move rollers to each operation.Qualifications:Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing instruction.Intermediate computer skills.Basic math skills and understanding of tolerances.Good verbal communication skills for clear interaction with team members and supervisors.Safety minded and disciplined to follow safety protocols.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periodsManual dexterity to handle tools and componentsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment.Our Equipment Includes:CNC Double-Headed Boring LathesManual Turning LathesCNC Haas, Poreba, and Toolmex Turning LathesCoetz Computerized Balancing EquipmentThermal Spray and Top coat processes.Computerized Pin PrintersBenefits:Competitive pay based on experience.Paid 30 Minute LunchBS BC Health Insurance with HSA or Flex AccountDental and Vision InsuranceVacation and paid Sick Time.Short Term/Long Term Disability10 Paid HolidaysLife Insurance401(k) with company contribution.Safety Shoe reimbursement.Maxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
