Self-motivation and the ability to collaborate with support staff is a must.DutiesBe proficient in negotiating settlements with adjusters & attorneys.Prepare clients for depositions.Oversee and coordinate the workflow of paralegals and support staff.Monitor case progress and send timely reminders to support staff, ensuring that assignments are completed on schedule and key milestones are achieved.Support paralegals by identifying and resolving obstacles that may impede task completion.Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing them with updates and guidance.QualificationsStrong background in Law, with a focus on Personal Injury and Labor and Employment LawProficiency in providing Legal Advice and advocacy for clientsProven Negotiation skills, including the ability to liaise with insurance companies and other parties to secure favorable outcomesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to maintain effective client relationshipsJuris Doctor (JD) degree and a member in good standing of the New York State BarExperience in personal injury litigation or similar legal fields is preferredSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectivelySalary commensurate with experience.
