Your role is pivotal in driving revenue through effective sales strategies, maintaining store standards, and fostering a welcoming environment.What You Will Be DoingDrive Sales and Revenue:Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase sales.Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.Stay informed about current promotions sales, and programs and sales to inform customers effectively.Customer Service:Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.Provide detailed product information and recommendations.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.Responsible for high quality patient customer service, retrieving patient information when required from the Medical Marijuana Use Registry, and maintaining confidential and HIPAA compliant paperworkPackage pre-orders efficiently and accurately for reserve ahead pickups.Obtain the appropriate documentation from each patient at every delivery, ensuring validity of their identification and registration with Medical Marijuana UseDeliver products to customers in the store or via home deliveryStore Operations:Operate POS and any auxillary sales systems and handle sales transactions accurately.Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.Set up and dismantle promotional displays and visual merchandising.Follow all state regulations pertaining to certified Cannabis retailersOther duties as assignedCompliance and Record-Keeping:Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.Follow loss prevention guidelines and monitor for suspicious activity.Team Collaboration:Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and inventory needs.Experience and Skills You'll BringRequired:Age 21 or over (Industry Requirement)High School Diploma or equivalent (Industry Requirement)Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Industry Requirement)Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays1 year of experience in retail or a related customer service roleProficiency in operating POS systems and handling transactionsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues promptlyPreferred:Experience in the cannabis industryFamiliarity with inventory management systemsBilingual abilities are a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand or sit for prolonged periodsCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks related to stocking and merchandisingComfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
