Responsibilities include transporting and delivering steel using company trucks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations, and assisting with loading and unloading material. The role will also require maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring timely arrival at destinations. Strong attention to detail, time management, and a customer-focused attitude are key to success in this role.QualificationsPossession of a valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving recordProven experience with truck driving, including long-haul and local deliveriesAbility to unload material safely and follow established loading and unloading proceduresThorough understanding of and adherence to DOT regulationsPhysical fitness to meet the demands of the roleMust be able to pass random drug testing.Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to safetyPrior experience in the metal supply or steel industry is a plus.
